The above vintage radio was produced around the time of World War II, and was no doubt a source of
essential news to a war torn world. People relied on the radio back then for both entertainment and news, and
it was a privilege for a family to own one. Things were much simpler back then in comparison to todays
world of instant electronic transmissions via the Internet and other electronic sources. The radio is still in use
today, and with all the other sources of information available to us, we are often overwhelmed with what is
know as "Information Overload." That is why it is so critical that we slow down and listen to the most
important information of all, "God's Word"

Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know?  Have you not heard?  The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the
earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the
weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and
fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will
run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.  (NIV)
