The Steam Locomotive had an impressive amount gadgetry located in the cab, as seen in this retired locomotive. Steam Engines were a welcome replacement for horse drawn carts when it came to the transporting of passengers and cargo. The indigenous people referred to them as the "Iron Horse" as they were a symbol of power and might. They were an important part of the American Industrial Revolution, because the railroads helped shape America, and are still very much used today. But the Steam Locomotive of yesterday has long since seen its hey day and has become, for the most part, a relic of Times Gone By. Most are now reserved for abandoned sidings and train museums, but some are still operational and remain as one of the most nostalgic pieces of machinery for those train lovers out there!
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man; the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Psalm 147:10-11
